My mother gave me up for adoption. My birth father traced me and acknowledged that he was my father although he did not oppose the adoption nor did he make an attempt to get custody. He named me as the beneficiary in his life insurance policy. I did not know about this till I looked through some old files and found that my adoptive father had taken the money and used it for himself as my guardian. I want legal assistant to take action against my adoptive father.
