My home was destroyed in a fire and I was rendered homeless. I had lost everything that I had and the only things that I now possess are my family and a car. I am staying in a rented apartment waiting for my home to be built again. My insurers have been delaying the release of my claim and that too for reasons that are not justified. They are holding the value of my home and the belongings after the depreciation of the value. I can understand that in case of the belongings but the home had actually appreciated in value and it will cost me a lot more to have the same rebuilt now. The rented apartment is also costing me money and I want that to be included in my claim as well. I will be looking for a lawyer to assess my property and also add my expenses that have been caused due to the delay and make a claim against the insurers.
