I GOT THE CAR AFTER I HAD SUED THE DEALER FOR THE BREACH OF OUR AGREEMENT

I was looking to buy a second hand car that had been modified and wanted it to look like an old model.  I had this dream of driving around the streets in an old fashioned car.  However I could never afford a vintage and had to make good with one of the newer models that had been modified.  I had found a car that was to my liking and after a thorough discussion with the dealer I had made a down payment for the car and promised to return with the rest of the money later in the day.  just to be sure that he would not back out of the deal I had made sure that he signed a paper confirming that a deal had been made for the car mentioning the model, price etc.

I returned in the evening with the rest of the money to find another person sitting in the same shop and refusing to acknowledge that the car had been sold to me.  The person who originally sold the car was nowhere to be seen and I was dealing with a new person altogether.  I got a feeling that something was fishy and immediately told them that I would be visiting the police if I did not get the car.  That was when the first person stepped out of nowhere and told me that they had no reason to deny me the deal but the price that was agreed would now change by a thousand dollars.  I was not ready for that and neither was I ready to get the deal cancelled.  I made my intention clear and told him that I wanted the car at the price that it was offered at in the morning or they would face my lawyers for a breach of contract.

That did not deter them and I was told that they would not change their mind.  I was not deterred at all by their statement and went straight to my lawyer with the case.  They were sued for breach of contract and asked to present themselves before the courts or give me the car at the price agreed.  The dealers had never expected this from me and were running for cover after the letter had reached them.  I had also made it a point to mention that the lawyers fees would now come off the price if the car.

A couple of days later the car was delivered to me minus the cost of the lawyers fees and I had what I wanted.  It was the letter that I had gotten signed that had helped me with the ultimate delivery.
